STATEMENT FROM SOCIALIST PARTY(INDIA)
SUB: GOVERNMENT HOMEOPATHY HOSPITAL RAMANTHAPUR HYDERABAD DISPENSES HOMEO MEDICINE FOR BLACK FUNGUS AND COVID19 - PREVENTIVE AND CURATIVE

Further to our statement of 19 may 2021 we have the following to state:
There is shortage of vaccinations and drugs as per media reports sourced from various authorities and from ground reports. Very recently, the Madras HIgh Court in its order of 24 may 2021 expressed worry that 'there have been cases of mucormycosis in the state and the required drugs are in short supply.' Other courts including the Supreme Court of India have expressed anguish for people's health vis a vis availability of vaccination, oxygen, medicine, beds, etc.
At such a critical juncture we fail to comprehend why Homeopathy which is known for its efficacy and safety , and which is also prescribed on the Ministry of AYUSH website is not being propogated by government of India or state governments. Why every government hospital at every tier in each city and village that has AYUSH cells are not disseminating the information and the medicine?
From ground zero, we want to share with you that people who never taken homeopathy medicine till date are now asking for homeo medicine as a preventive as they are confused and apprehensive on availability of vaccination and medicines.
We are not anti-allopathy is to be noted. We had inquired about senior citizens even as vaccinations were opened up only for health workers and engaged with medical officers as to where senior citizens can get vaccinated when it opens.
All that we want and care for is use of science and use of ethics for wellbeing of one and all.
we once again urge the Ministry of AYUSH to widely disseminate the Homeopathy preventive and curative prescriptions given by Homeopathy doctors from time to time.
On May 20, 2021, JSPS Government Homeopathy College Ramanthapur gave the prescription for preventive and curative for Mucormycosis(black fungus). Even at their college premises they have displayed it,.(plz refer link from 'the hindu' paper above)But hardly considered as a medicine at all due to not being promoted by the government.
'Science keeps evolving' 'we are evolving in science, evolving in understanding' are the statements repeatedly being used now by all senior doctors right from Director of AIIMS and member/head Government Panel NTAGI, when questioned about how Remdesivir that was the cure is now out of list of prescriptions, same goes with plasma therapy that is out of list of curative for Covid19. we trust that these decisions are taken premising on science.
Homeopathy is a science too and we observed how an elderly was treated by HOmeopathy doctor got her oxygen levels from 84 to 98-99 by using Homeopathy liquid medicine and how it is used in Pneumonia, etc
We shall always stand by good practices of medicine established through science. We condemn practise of quack medicine as a crime against humanity.

We urge the Madras High Court which is set to hear again on 27 may 2021 to give the patients an option of Homeopathy cure and preventive for Mucormycosis and Covid19 and similarly appeal to all other courts who are hearing out appeals from state governments and public on shortage of medicines for Mucormycosis(black fungus) and Covid19.
Please consider us as humble volunteers in service of our beloved country and its people and thus expect our suggestions to be taken in democratic scientific spirit.
