@tgspdcl chairman & managing director @musharraf_ias has directed cable operators & internet providers to remove unauthorised cables that are attached to electric poles within @GHMCOnline limits.

In a meeting with representatives from cable operators, ISPs, and the cable association, Musharraf instructed them to install cables in accordance with norms on the city's principal thoroughfares within a week, and on power poles on other major thoroughfares, within two weeks.

He cited a recent survey by the Company revealed that a majority of unused cables were resting on electric poles and that wires encircled the entire pole, making it challenging for the electricity department workers to perform repairs on the poles.
