Advocates in Telangana have decided to abstain from the courts demanding suspension of an Assistant Sub Inspector of Police who allegedly ‘attacked’ an advocate.
Federation for the Bar Associations of Telangana president Y Kondal Reddy said “we strongly condemn the unlawful acts of Police and also we demand the D.G.P. to suspend the A.S.I. Uma Reddy of Siddipet-II Town Police Station immediately by withdrawing the case registered against our brother Advocate M. Ravi Kumar by Siddipet-I Town Police Station. Otherwise we will take serious action against the Police.
We have decided to abstaining the works of all the Courts of our Telangana State on 11-7-2024”
