కరోనా వైరస్ ను అరికట్టేందుకు వ్యాక్సిన్ ఈ ఏడాదికి వచ్చే అవకాశాలు దాదాపు లేవని ప్రపంచ ఆరోగ్య సంస్థ (WHO) తెలిపింది. కరోనా కట్టడికి వ్యాక్సిన్ అభివృద్ధి చేయడానికి పలు దేశాలు పోటీ పడుతున్న టైంలో ప్రపంచ ఆరోగ్య సంస్థ ప్రకటన ప్రాధాన్యత సంతరించుకుంది. ఇప్పటికే పలు దేశాలలో వ్యాక్సిన్ పై క్లినికల్ ట్రయల్స్ ప్రారంభమయ్యాయి. అవి సానుకూల ఫలితాలు ఇస్తున్నట్లు కూడా వార్తలు వస్తున్నాయి. అయితే పూర్తి స్థాయిలో టీకా అందుబాటులోకి ఈ ఏడాది వచ్చే అవకాశం లేదని ప్రపంచ ఆరోగ్య సంస్థ స్పష్టం చేసింది. ‌ ప్రపంచంలోని పలు దేశాల్లో వివిధ వ్యాక్సిన్లు అభివృద్ధి దశలో ఉన్నాయని, కొన్ని మూడో దశ ప్రయోగాలకు చేరుకున్నాయని గుర్తు చేసింది. అయితే ఇందులో ఏ ఒక్కటీ ఫెయిల్ కాలేదని తెలిపింది.
