"When the voices of the youth and the wise see eye to eye and come together, you know it's for a worthwhile cause and that's exactly what happened today in Hyderabad. We need to keep justice at the heart of everything we do and know that climate, gender, employment, economy and all themes intersect. We need to raise our voices and demand what is our right and bring to the forefront the rights of all other voices of farmers, marginalised communities, and so many others. We demand that the people in power act for climate justice." Thilaka on behalf of Climate Front Hyderabad, the organisers of the global climate strike event

"All corporate encouragement that the govt is doing is leading to destruction and depletion of resources of the state. We are heading towards a crisis which will not just harm us but will also leave nothing for the generations to come." Ashok Nayak, President Lambadi students organisation

When Science Is Saying We all Are under threat why are People ignoring the alert Message , why are policy Makers Taking Real Action , Babu Rao Scientist

We are all entering mass destruction phase and politicians are acting unaware sustainable development should be Everyones slogan because climate change is everyones problem , Sara Mathews Activist

"Majorly in India and Telangana, neo liberal policies are being followed which supports only the elite, neglecting the poor. Telangana development, even after 10 years of statehood is situated in Hyderabad, and isn't being evenly distributed across. Every year we encounter floods, none of the districts are protected from this, and the push from the government for paddy farming neglects the need to diversify the crops in order to sustain farmers livelihoods." - Akarsh, Organizer, Justice movement of India
