In year of Covid & worst-ever floods, #HyderabadMayor @bonthurammohan 'gifts' himself, deputy, 15 #GHMC standing committee members & 3 staff members, including his PS & additional PS, fancy #iPhone12ProMax that will cost over Rs 1.25 lakh each of taxpayer money.Am informed that #Telangana govt has directed that administrative sanction accorded to initiate e-procurement of #iPhone12ProMax for Mayor, his deputy, outgoing standing committee members, staff is "put on hold and will not be processed any further"...

*This is not the first time standing committee members approved iPhones for themselves. Since last 4 years, all four committee members got costly phones from public money. Last year iPhone 11 had given to 15 outgoing members & Mayor. So far GHMC bought 70 phones from public money...@NaseerGiyas Journalist*
