Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao extended greetings to the people of the State on the commencement of nine-day long #Bathukamma festivities.
Hon'ble CM said that the Bathukamma is celebrated with great fervour and gaiety by women at their maternal homes by arranging the flowers in a beautiful stack. The dance and songs around Bathukammas reflect the unique tradition of Telangana.The cultural extravaganza, that embeds praying the nature by women folk all through it, will be on full display across the State for nine days starting the 'Petharamasa'.
Bathukamma spread far and wide to all corners of the globe. And with it, the Telangana culture also proliferated to different continents. Pray Goddess of Nature, Bathukamma, to bestow the people of the State with happiness and good health: CM
