NOTICE(as attached) has been served to the following, under Dam Safety Act 2021 to take immediate 'remedial measures'(Sec. 4(v)) in order to remove the 'distress condition'(Sec. 4(i)) as duly applicable for safety and health of Osman Sagar Dam-Reservoir on Moosa river and Himayath Sagar Dam-Reservoir on Esa river(tributary to Moosa river):

2- The Managing Director, Hyderabad Metropolitan Water and Sewerage Board, Administrative Office Building Khairatabad, Hyderabad – 500004

3- The Chief Secretary, Government of Telangana, Telangana Secretariat 5th Floor, Burgula Rama Krishna Rao Bhavan, NH 44, Hill Fort, Adarsh Nagar, Hyderabad, 500063

Notice for action on representation of 30 june 2022 for:

1- restoration of GO Ms 111 dated 8.3.1996 under which industries and constructions were prohibited in 10kms buffer zone , as also ordered by Supreme Court in Supreme Court vide its orders dated 27.1.1999 and 22.12.2000, in CASE NOs: Appeal (civil) 368-371 of 1999 Appeal (civil) 372 of 1999 Appeal (civil) 373 of 1999; and,

2- removal of all encroachments and dredging of landfills inside the two dam-reservoirs viz., Osman Sagar and Himayath Sagar;
