•Failed to supervise the investigation of Cr No. 90/2024 (under multiple IPC sections).

•Proceeded with the arrest of the actress based on oral instructions from his superior on 31.01.2024, before the registration of the FIR on 02.02.2024.

•Booked flights for officers to Mumbai for the arrest without proper written instructions or due investigation.

•His actions were deemed to be misconduct and dereliction of duty.

•Suspension Details: Kanthi Rana Tata has been placed under suspension, with his headquarters set as Vijayawada. He is barred from leaving the headquarters without permission and will receive subsistence allowance during the suspension.

2. Vishal Gunni, IPS (2010) – Former Deputy Commissioner of Police, Vijayawada

•Order No.: G.O.Rt.No1592

•Date: 15.09.2024

•Allegations:

•Failed to properly examine the complaint before proceeding with the arrest.

•Acted on oral instructions and traveled to Mumbai on 02.02.2024 to arrest the actress without written orders or sufficient evidence.

•Arrested the actress soon after the FIR was registered, raising concerns of procedural irregularities.

•The report suggested that his actions displayed disregard for standard investigative protocols.

•Suspension Details: Similar to the first officer, Vishal Gunni has been placed under suspension with his headquarters in Vijayawada, receiving a subsistence allowance during the suspension period.

3. P. Sitharama Anjaneyulu, IPS (1992) – Former Director General of Police, Intelligence

•Order No.: G.O.Rt.No1592

•Date: 15.09.2024

•Allegations:

•On 31.01.2024, he instructed Kanthi Rana Tata and Vishal Gunni to proceed with the arrest of the actress, even before a formal crime had been registered.

•Pushed the investigation forward based on incomplete information and without proper documentation.

•His actions were considered to be misuse of power and grave misconduct.

•Suspension Details: P. Sitharama Anjaneyulu was placed under suspension with his headquarters in Vijayawada
