This is an open invite, calling Individuals/Experts/Scientists/Activists/Political parties/NGOs and all, for contributions at Round table brain-storming on 'Survival of Hussain Sagar, Hyderabad' in light of orders from National Green Tribunal Chennai. Venue, time to be informed soon.
Format of roundtable:
- Petitioner shall thru bullet points inform the participants at the meeting on all violations, including corruption in, on and around Hussain Sagar and shall place suggestions/alternatives;
- Points will be taken down from each person on the topic of alternatives/objections/suggestions for 'Survival of Hussain Sagar';
- Venue: If anyone can offer space they are welcome to do so; venue should be accessible for all; 2-3 hours of time at venue required;
As Committee has been directed by NGT to take/consider objections/alternatives/suggestions from petitioner on Hussain Sagar, petitioner now seeks support in the form of suggestions/alternatives are being sought from one and all, Individuals/Experts/Scientists/Activists/Political parties/NGOs etc. Please contribute your thoughts.

NGT appointed committee scheduled meeting in Hyderabad on 3march2021. As ordered by the Tribunal Committee has requested petitioner to attend the meeting and present objections/alternatives/suggestions regarding protecting and restoration of Hussain Sagar.
please see below extract from National green tribunal, chennai, order dated 28 january 2021 in Hussain Sagar case running between dr lubna sarwath and government of telangana since 2015 when the government tried to dewater hussain sagar.

At para 12 NGT has directed the Joint Committee to take the petitioner's suggestions that 'can also be considered by the committee and incorporate the same while compiling the report.'
Also, at para 10 NGT has directed as: 'the applicant is directed to submit her further objection to the joint committee report within a week with a copy to the
members of the joint committee, so that they can conduct further study on the basis of the objections submitted by her as well.'
