URGENT:RE-OPEN WEBOPTIONS FOR BSC(MLT) -POOR GIRL STUDENT LOSING ACADEMIC YEAR

ADMISSIONS TO B.Sc.MLT - First Phase closed on 1 dec 2023 amidst elections when youth citizens were travelling across the state to cast their votes - On 2 dec2023 the site still accepted payment of Rs.6000 and gave allotment letter but later did not accept admission and issued a cancelled message -

Youth citizens and other citizens have travelled across the state to cast their votes and return back to the city of Hyderabad and to other places of work /study etc.

However, it is observed that the previous KCR government fixed 1.12.2023 4PM as last date-time for first phase web options for B.Sc.(MLT). The last date was not even extended in light of elections.  

However, a girl student who exercised the web option on 2 dec 2023 was allowed to pay fee of Rs.6000 and was issued allotment letter for Khammam Nursing College to pursue B.Sc(MLT).  

But subsequently a message was issued to the student that her admission stands cancelled.

Thus the girl student who is from a financially challenged family stands to lose an academic year.

As such, it is appealed to the Congress Government, that the students who have exercised web options after 1 dec for first phase or all the students must be allowed to exercise their options in second phase or allow admissions thru IIphase weboptions to all those who have paid their web option fees.

As this issue is concerning the life and career of our youth it is appealed to the Congress government to take this issue on EMERGENCY BASIS.
