Telangana recorded 64.93 percent voter turnout in Loksabha polls.
It is better than 2019 voter turnout of 62.77 per cent.
Urban constituencies Hyderabad, Secunderabad, Malkajgiri and Chevella recorded the lowest voter turnout as usual. The turnout in these constituencies increased slightly when compared to 2019 polls.
Bhongir, Khammam and Medak recorded the highest. 2024 Loksabha Polls concluded yesterday evening.
However efforts of ECI to increase voter turnout didn’t yield results significantly.
