Hyderabad: 12sep2025, Awaam(People's) Waqf Resolutions were submitted to Hon'ble Minister for Minorities, Shri Adluri Laxman garu. We had a discussion and he assured that he is trying to resolve the issues discussed. Waqf is a specialised subject and needs a focused attention, he said. We had pointed out that the Waqf Board is irregular with corruption; a functional CEO was removed citing subjudice Act, even though the CEO had a higher rank than Deputy Secretary; all the staff at the Waqf Office were underqualified drawing high salaries. When such is the set up how can the Islamic charitable institution of Waqf be protected and used for the beneficiaries, was our worry that we explained to the Minister garu and urged for earliest resolution.
