Telugu Police Constable resigns police job after humiliation, cracks UPSC

Uday Krishna Reddy from Prakasam district secured the 780th rank in the 2023 UPSC Civil Services Examination.
He served as a police constable from 2013 to 2018. He says the circle inspector humiliated him in front of 60 policemen due to a personal grudge. 'I resigned from my job and decided to crack UPSC and become an IAS officer,' he stated.
Uday Krishna Reddy might be assigned to the Indian Revenue Service, but he says he will continue preparing until he is selected for the Indian Administrative Service.
