𝘋𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦 𝘊𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴: As Telangana marks ten years of formation on June 2, the ruling Congress and opposition BRS are competing to make their presence felt during the celebrations.

𝘖𝘧𝘧𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘈𝘯𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘌𝘮𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘮: CM Revanth Reddy finalized the new Telangana state anthem and emblem, which will be unveiled on June 2, reflecting the state’s culture and honoring Telangana martyrs. Sonia Gandhi invited.

𝘊𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘣𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘌𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴: The state has planned extensive celebrations at Parade Grounds and Tank Bund, including cultural programs, a carnival, a laser show, and food and gaming stalls.

𝘈𝘥𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘴𝘪 𝘚𝘺𝘮𝘣𝘰𝘭𝘴: Revanth Reddy's decision to include images of Sammakka-Saralamma goddesses and Nagoba in the new state emblem has been well-received by Adivasi activists.

𝘉𝘙𝘚 𝘖𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯: The BRS strongly opposes changes to the state emblem, particularly the removal of the Kakatiya Kalatoranam and Charminar symbols, accusing the Congress of attempting to erase Telangana’s historical symbols.

𝘉𝘙𝘚 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘴: BRS leaders, including former MP B. Vinod Kumar, staged protests in Warangal and have planned a protest at Charminar led by KTR, demanding the retention of the Kakatiya Kalatoranam and Charminar in the emblem. BRS has threatened legal action if the Congress government proceeds with the emblem changes without retaining historical symbols.

𝘊𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘭 𝘛𝘳𝘪𝘣𝘶𝘵𝘦: The new anthem, reviewed by notable figures like Oscar Awardee M.M. Keeravani and Ande Sri, aims to pay tribute to Telangana's cultural heritage and the sacrifices of its martyrs. However Telangana cine music producer’s association criticised choosing Keeravani for making music stating he is a non Telanganite.
